Cockburn ARC

Cockburn

Transit Group WA is set to undertake the electrical work for the Cockburn Arc redevelopment, a project that promises to transform the area into a vibrant hub. Commencing in March 2024 and slated for completion in August 2025, the team will focus on integrating cutting-edge electrical systems to support the development’s modern infrastructure. The City’s additions to Cockburn ARC will include an increase in gym floorspace to 1,500 sqm, an expanded body, mind, and soul studio of 250 sqm, and the relocation of the main group fitness and indoor cycle studios, alongside administrative spaces to maximize gym capacity. Additionally, the expansion will introduce new shared facilities between the City and Fremantle Dockers adjacent to Victor George Kailis Oval, featuring two unisex community changerooms, a dedicated changeroom for female talent, a multipurpose education and meeting space, a spectator terrace, and public amenities. This partnership will allow for economies of scale and cost-sharing in the expanded facility design, minimizing disruption for members and ensuring that the project meets community needs with a focus on sustainability and safety.
