Transit Group WA proudly delivered the complete electrical and communications package for the new Weir Minerals facility in Hazelmere, Western Australia. Developed by Hesperia and constructed by Q Design + Construct, this major industrial development spans 7,500m² and includes a state-of-the-art warehouse, workshop, and two-storey office, designed to meet the demands of a modern industrial operation while targeting a 5 Star Green Star rating.
From the outset, this project called for a high level of planning, coordination, and technical capability. Transit Group WA was engaged to provide a full turnkey electrical and communications solution, supporting the delivery of a facility built for performance, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. Working closely with the builder and wider project team, we ensured every stage of the electrical and communications installation was executed to a high standard and aligned with the overall vision for the development.
Our scope of works included detailed design and engineering, custom-built switchboards, mains cabling, underground electrical infrastructure, advanced lighting systems, general power distribution, communications infrastructure, MATV services, and EV charging infrastructure. Each component was delivered with a focus on reliability, functionality, and future readiness, helping create a facility that not only meets current operational requirements but is also well positioned for ongoing growth.
